Anker Prime 65W 3-in-1 Power Bank: A Strong Option for Travelers

Anker has released a new version of its Prime power bank that combines three functions in one compact package. This device acts as a portable battery, a wall charger, and includes support for fast charging cables, making it suitable for people who travel often and want to carry less gear.

Key Features and Design

The power bank stands out with its foldable AC plug that lets it plug directly into wall outlets. It also comes with a built-in USB-C cable (about 22 cm long) that supports up to 65W output. This cable has an E-Marker chip for safe and stable charging, and it can serve as a lanyard for easy carrying.

The unit measures 43.5 x 42 x 115 mm and weighs 305 grams, which keeps it pocket-friendly. It uses GaN technology for better efficiency in a small form.

A 1.3-inch color display shows useful details in real time:

  • Battery percentage
  • Input and output power
  • Charging temperature
  • Battery health
  • Cycle count
  • Estimated time remaining

Users can switch display modes and adjust brightness with side buttons.

Charging Performance

The device has a 9,600mAh battery capacity, with a rated output of 5,760mAh after efficiency losses. It delivers up to 65W maximum output in both battery and wall charger modes.

  • In single-port use, it reaches 65W.
  • When charging two devices, output splits (typically up to 45W on one USB-C port and 20W on the other).
  • Phones usually get 18-27W, while laptops receive 45-65W.

It supports multiple fast-charging standards, including PD, PPS, QC, SCP, and UFCS, for wide device compatibility (over 1,000 types via PowerIQ 3.0). Pass-through charging is available, so you can power devices while the bank recharges.

Safety features include ActiveShield 3.0, which monitors temperature millions of times daily and protects against issues like overvoltage and short circuits.
