ASUS has rolled out a fresh batch of AI-focused laptops in India, built around AMD’s Ryzen AI 400 Series processors. The lineup includes the premium Zenbook S16 and Zenbook 14, plus several Vivobook models aimed at different user needs. These machines handle on-device AI tasks thanks to dedicated neural processing units (NPUs) that reach up to 50 TOPS.
The launch, reported across tech sites like Gizmochina, FoneArena, and The Times of India around February 12-13, 2026, follows a short pre-booking window. Sales are now live through ASUS stores, Amazon, Flipkart, and other partners.
Key Models and Features
All devices run on the Ryzen AI 400 Series chips, which support Copilot+ PC features and tools like AI noise canceling.
- Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA) This flagship model uses the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor (10 cores, 20 threads). It pairs with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen offers 120Hz refresh, high brightness (up to 1000 nits HDR), full DCI-P3 coverage, and stylus support. Battery capacity hits 83Wh, with claims of long runtime. The slim aluminum build weighs 1.5 kg and includes WiFi 7.
- Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA) A more compact option with the AMD Ryzen AI 5 430 processor. It has 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB SSD. The 14-inch FHD+ OLED touchscreen provides good color accuracy and eye-care certifications. Battery is 75Wh. The device weighs 1.28 kg and uses WiFi 6E.
- Vivobook Models These target everyday users. Options include:
- Vivobook S16 (M3607GA): Ryzen AI 7 445, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD, 16-inch FHD OLED touchscreen.
- Vivobook 16 (M1607GA): Similar processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 16-inch FHD+ display.
- Vivobook 15 (M1502NAQ): Ryzen 7 150, 16GB RAM (expandable), 512GB SSD, 15.6-inch FHD screen.
- Vivobook 16 (M1605NAQ): Entry-level variant, sales start in early March.
