Galaxy S26 EU Prices Leak: Ultra Gets Cheaper?

A recent leak about Samsung Galaxy S26 series pricing in Europe includes an unexpected detail.

Tipster Roland Quandt shared details on Bluesky, based on retail information from Sweden. The prices apply to that market and may vary across other EU countries due to differences in taxes and currency.

The base Galaxy S26 model now starts at 256GB storage, up from the 128GB base on the Galaxy S25. This change contributes to a higher starting price—around €200 more than the previous base model’s launch price. The Galaxy S26+ appears set to hold steady with the Galaxy S25+ pricing for its 256GB version.

The surprise comes with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Its 256GB and 512GB variants could launch about €100 lower than the equivalent Galaxy S25 Ultra models. The 1TB version is expected to match last year’s price.

These figures reflect efforts by Samsung to handle higher costs for memory components without passing all increases to buyers in Europe. Earlier reports had pointed to possible broad price rises due to component costs, but this leak shows a mixed picture: some adjustment for base models tied to doubled starting storage, stability for the Plus, and a slight reduction for the Ultra’s popular configurations.

Prices mentioned are specific to Sweden and should not be taken as final for the entire EU or other regions. Official confirmation will come closer to the expected February 2025 launch.
