Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Set for Launch with 64MP Telephoto and 155g Build

Honor is preparing to introduce the Magic 8 Pro Air, a slim flagship smartphone that combines a lightweight frame with strong camera hardware. The device has appeared in recent teasers, highlighting its thin profile and periscope telephoto lens.

Key Design Features

The phone measures just 6.1mm thick and weighs 155g, making it lighter than competitors such as the iPhone Air (165g) and Galaxy S25 Edge (163g). This focus on reduced weight aims to improve one-handed use while keeping a premium feel.

Camera Setup

The rear triple-camera system includes a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom (and up to 100x digital zoom), f/2.6 aperture, 74mm equivalent focal length, and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The main sensor uses a large 1/1.3-inch type with 50MP resolution, f/1.6 aperture, and OIS. It pairs with a 50MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2 aperture, 112-degree field of view). The front camera is a 50MP unit.
