The iQOO 15 Ultra has shown strong early demand in China, with reports indicating about 15,000 units shipped in its first three days on sale.

This performance-focused smartphone launched in the Chinese market on February 4, 2026. It targets users who prioritize high-end gaming and heavy usage, featuring specs built around sustained performance.

Early Sales Figures

According to data tracked from platforms like JD.com and shared by tech blogger Digital Chat Station, the device sold out in its opening sales round. Roughly 15,000 units moved in the initial three days post-launch.

This figure comes from third-party monitoring, so it serves as an estimate rather than an official company release. Still, it points to good uptake for a premium model in a competitive segment.

Comparison to Prior Models

The Ultra version posted around 1.5 times the sales volume in the same early window as the previous Pro model from the lineup. Day-two growth reached about 2.3 to 2.4 times what the prior Pro saw.

Buyers showed particular pull toward top configurations, such as the 24GB RAM + 1TB storage option.

Device Positioning and Key Features

Priced from 5,699 yuan (around $800) for the base 16GB + 256GB trim up to 7,699 yuan (around $1,080) for the highest 24GB + 1TB edition, the phone sits in the upper tier.

It includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6.85-inch 2K 144Hz AMOLED screen, a 7,400mAh battery, 100W wired charging, an active cooling system with a fan (called Ice Dome), shoulder triggers for gaming, and a triple 50MP camera array.

These elements support its aim at extended gaming sessions without quick throttling.

Market Context

The solid start reflects interest in devices that handle demanding tasks well. Availability remains limited to China for now, with no confirmed plans for wider release.

This early response suggests the model appeals to its core audience despite the higher price point.
