Samsung Brings Refurbished Galaxy S25 to UK, Germany, France

Samsung has expanded its Certified Re-Newed program to three additional European countries: France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This move, announced on January 13, 2026, follows earlier availability in the United States and South Korea.

The program allows customers to purchase high-quality refurbished Galaxy flagship devices at lower prices while supporting environmental goals through reduced waste and extended product use.

Key Details of the Expansion

Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed devices (known as Refurbished Premium by Samsung in France) start with the Galaxy S25 series, including models like the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Additional device lineups are planned for future inclusion.

Devices in these new markets come from top-grade returned products only. They receive a full refurbishment using 100% genuine Samsung parts, including a certified new battery. Each unit undergoes more than 100 quality tests, rigorous cleaning, and an expert inspection to match the performance of new devices.

After refurbishment:

  • Personal data is fully reset.
  • Devices get new IMEI numbers.
  • The latest software is installed for security and ongoing support.
  • They ship in new recyclable packaging with the same accessories as new products (quick start guide, data cable, ejector pin).

These refurbished units carry the same warranty as brand-new Galaxy devices, setting them apart from third-party options.

Where to Buy

Availability is limited to Samsung’s official website (Samsung.com) in each country. They are not sold through retail stores or third-party partners.

This step broadens access to recent flagship technology for more users while aligning with efforts to promote a circular economy. Samsung plans further expansions based on market demand and customer needs.
