Samsung’s Insane 2026 Odyssey Monitors: 6K Glasses-Free 3D & 1040Hz Speed Revealed!

Samsung has revealed its latest Odyssey gaming monitor lineup just ahead of CES 2026. The company introduced five new models that focus on higher resolutions, faster refresh rates, and added depth in visuals. These displays target gamers who want sharp details, smooth motion, or strong contrast.

The full range will appear at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9. No prices or release dates have been shared yet.

Key Models in the Lineup

Samsung brought out one new Odyssey 3D model, an updated Odyssey G6, and three versions of the Odyssey G8.

Odyssey 3D (G90XH)

This 32-inch monitor stands out with its 6K resolution (6144 x 3456) and glasses-free 3D viewing. It uses eye tracking to adjust depth based on where you sit. The panel runs at 165Hz natively, with a Dual Mode that pushes it to 330Hz at lower 3K resolution.

It works with any game for basic 3D effects. Some titles, like Stellar Blade and The First Berserker: Khazan, get extra optimization for better terrain and object separation.

Odyssey G6 (G60H)

A 27-inch panel aimed at competitive play. It supports QHD resolution at up to 600Hz natively. Dual Mode takes it to 1,040Hz at HD resolution for extreme smoothness in fast action.

It includes support for AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync to keep frames steady.

Odyssey G8 Series

Three options here, each with different strengths:

  • 32-inch G80HS: First 6K gaming monitor from Samsung. Native 165Hz, Dual Mode up to 330Hz at 3K.
  • 27-inch G80HF: 5K resolution (5120 x 2880). Runs at 180Hz natively, Dual Mode boosts to 360Hz at QHD.
  • 32-inch OLED G80SH: 4K QD-OLED panel at 240Hz. Features glare-free coating, 300 nits brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 for deep blacks.

All G8 models work with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync.

What This Means for Gamers

These monitors offer choices for different needs. The 3D model adds a new layer to immersion. High-refresh options suit esports players. The OLED version provides better color and contrast.

Samsung continues to lead in gaming monitors with refresh rates over 144Hz, based on recent market data.
