Vivo has begun rolling out the OriginOS 6 software update to the T4 Pro in India. This major release brings the device up to Android 16 and introduces a range of system-level changes.
The update arrives as a trial version through Vivo’s beta testing program. Users have reported receiving the build PD2503KF_EX_A_16.1.7.0.W30. It starts with select testers, and if stable, it will reach more users soon. The rollout follows Vivo’s schedule, which placed the T4 Pro in the mid-December 2025 phase for V and T series models.
To check for the update, go to Settings > About Phone > System updates > Version Trial > Trial version, then download and install. Back up your data first, keep at least 50% battery, and use a stable Wi-Fi connection. The file size is large, typical for a full OS upgrade.
Key Changes in OriginOS 6
This version replaces the older interface with fresh visuals and tools. Highlights include:
- A new user interface with global rounded corners, improved blur effects, and the vivo Sans font.
- Enhanced lock screen options like custom clock styles, colors, positions, and widgets for weather or steps.
- Smoother performance from the Origin Smooth Engine, with better app startup and animations.
- Origin Island for quick info, drag-and-drop sharing, and smart suggestions.
- AI features such as real-time captions for speech-to-text and translation, plus natural language search.
- New apps like Vivo DocMaster for document handling and Office Kit for cross-device work.
- Privacy additions like Private Space and better clipboard controls.
- Battery and display tweaks for longer use and eye comfort.
These updates focus on daily usability, from faster loading to better multitasking.
The T4 Pro, launched in August 2025 with Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15, now joins other models like the T4 Ultra in getting this upgrade. Vivo plans wider availability in phases.
