How to Set Up Your Zenith Remote
Zenith remotes offer a few ways to pair with your equipment. Pick the one that fits your model.
Using Direct Code Entry
Turn on the device you want to control, like a TV. Hold the code search button until the light stays on. Let go. Press the button for the device type. Key in the three-digit code from the list. The light turns off if it works. Test buttons like power or volume. If it fails, try another code for that brand.
Some models lack a code search button. For those, power on the device. Press the device button. Enter the code. Hit enter to save.
Trying Auto Code Search
If codes don’t match, use this scan method. Switch on the device. Hold code search until the light glows. Press the device button. Aim at the device and press power over and over until it shuts off. Then, press enter to lock it in. This might take a few minutes but finds the right fit.
Keep batteries fresh. Change them within 90 seconds to hold saved codes.
