Nvidia G-Sync Pulsar Monitors Hit Shelves After Years of Waiting

Nvidia first showed off G-Sync Pulsar technology back in 2024. Since then, gamers have waited for actual products to appear. That wait ends soon.

The first monitors with this feature go on sale starting January 7, 2026. Four models launch right away from Acer, AOC, Asus, and MSI.

What G-Sync Pulsar Does

This technology builds on variable refresh rate support. It adds controlled backlight pulsing that works even when refresh rates change.

The result? Motion looks much sharper. Nvidia claims it provides clarity like a display running over 1000Hz, while keeping gameplay smooth and free of tears or stutters.

These monitors suit fast-paced games where clear movement matters most.

Key Features in Launch Models

All four initial monitors share the same core setup:

  • 27-inch screen size
  • 2560×1440 resolution
  • IPS LCD panel with 360Hz native refresh rate
  • Wide color coverage (around 90% DCI-P3)
  • Peak HDR brightness of 500 nits

They also include a new option called G-Sync Ambient Adaptive. A built-in sensor detects room light and adjusts screen brightness and color temperature on its own.

Prices in the United States begin at $599. Stock starts at select stores on January 7, with more locations adding units in the weeks after.

After a long development period, these displays mark the arrival of Pulsar for everyday buyers. They focus on speed and clarity for competitive play.
