The iQOO 15 Ultra is set to launch in China on February 4, with full specs now surfacing through leaks just ahead of the event.
iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date as February 4 at 7 pm local time in China. The company positions this model as the industry’s first “performance Ultra” device, aimed at users who need high power, especially for mobile gaming. It will debut alongside the TWS Air3 earbuds.
Design and Build
The phone adopts a cyberpunk-inspired look, complete with a large square camera module that has a transparent element and a horizontal light strip acting as a breathing light. The back panel shows a hexagonal honeycomb texture, while the frame houses physical shoulder buttons on both sides for gaming controls. An intake vent for the cooling system sits below the camera module.
Two color options stand out: 2077 Flowing Orange for a bold appearance and 2049 Ice Blue for a cooler tone.
Display
Leaks point to a 6.85-inch Samsung LTPO flat panel with 2K resolution. It supports adaptive refresh rates, likely up to 144Hz based on prior details.
Performance and Gaming
The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, combined with iQOO’s Q3 supercomputing chip for gaming tasks. RAM can reach up to 24GB, with storage options topping out at 1TB (base models start at 16GB RAM and 512GB storage).
Gaming receives focused attention through features like an built-in active cooling fan, a large vapour chamber, liquid metal heat transfer, and shoulder buttons with 600Hz sampling rate plus haptic feedback. Stereo speakers get an upgrade, along with a dual-axis linear motor for better vibration.
Camera
The rear setup includes three 50MP sensors, featuring a 3x periscope telephoto lens with CIPA 4.5 stabilization rating. A 32MP sensor handles selfies on the front.

Battery and Charging
A 7,400mAh battery powers the phone, supporting 100W wired charging, wireless charging, and bypass charging to reduce heat during use.
Other details include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display and Android 16 running under OriginOS 6.
These details come from official teasers by iQOO and leaks shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, along with certifications and other reports. The phone targets gamers and performance seekers, though global availability remains unclear at this stage. More official information will arrive during the February 4 event.
