ViewSonic Launches 4K Android 16 Interactive Displays at Bett 2026

ViewSonic introduced two new series of interactive displays at Bett 2026, held in London. These mark the first education-focused panels to run Android 16.

The company presented the ViewBoard IFP35-1 Series and IFP41-1 Series. Both carry EDLA certification and target classrooms in K-12 and higher education settings.

Key Features of the New Displays

  • Run on Android 16 with an octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
  • Offer 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) across screen sizes from 55 to 98 inches.
  • Support up to 64 simultaneous touch points with palm rejection for accurate input.
  • Include ambient light sensors for auto brightness adjustment and PIR motion sensors to manage power based on room occupancy.
  • Provide 300 nits brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio, and 6.5 ms response time.

The IFP35-1 Series comes in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch options with dual 20W speakers.

The IFP41-1 Series offers sizes from 55 inches to 98 inches. It adds a 15W subwoofer and eight built-in microphones for better sound capture and output. It also includes Write Away for quick annotations during sessions.

Both series integrate myViewBoard software. This tool offers a refreshed interface, real-time collaboration, student participation mode, and accessibility options. It allows content sharing across devices and flexible lesson setup.

ViewSonic demonstrated its broader education setup at the event. This combines myViewBoard with AirSync for wireless screen sharing and Manager for IT oversight. The approach supports use from single rooms to entire campuses.

The event took place at ExCeL London, Booth NK20, from January 21-23, 2026. Real-world examples included deployments at places like Nottingham College and Harris Academy Beckenham.

These displays remain in the “coming soon” stage, with plans for release in the second half of 2026. No pricing details have been shared yet.
