Samsung has rolled out a limited-time offer in the US aimed at college football fans ahead of the national championship. The company calls it the TV Transfer Portal. It gives eligible participants $50 through Venmo to cover a rideshare to a watch party with a Samsung TV.
The move comes as Samsung pushes its TVs as the go-to choice for game viewing. A statement from the company notes that a weak TV setup can spoil the big moments.
How the Offer Works
Fans at a watch party using a non-Samsung TV can take part. They need to send a direct message to @SamsungUS on Instagram or X (formerly Twitter). The message must include a photo of their current TV setup.
The first 900 eligible entries receive the $50 payment. This cash is meant for a rideshare to a different watch party that features a Samsung TV.
The portal opens for a short window on January 19, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
Extra Perks for Viewers
Samsung pairs the promo with discounts. Select TV models are available at up to 50% off until February 8, 2026. This lets hosts upgrade their own setups.
The company highlights features in its latest TVs, such as tools to keep pictures sharp on large screens and tech to cut down on glare from room lights.
Sukhmani Mohta, Chief Marketing & Partnerships Officer for Home Entertainment at Samsung Electronics America, said the portal offers a lighthearted way to mark college football season while showing off better viewing tech.

The promo ties into Samsung’s ongoing focus on sports viewing. It builds on the brand’s history of partnering with football events and teams to reach fans directly.
This offer stands out for its direct cash incentive and social media entry method. It gives quick rewards while steering people toward Samsung hardware for the championship experience. Fans interested should prepare their photo and watch for the January 19 window.
