The stable version of ColorOS 16, built on Android 16, has started reaching Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 14 Pro users. This update follows the rollout to other models like the Find X6 series.
Rollout Begins in India
Oppo has not made an official announcement on its community forum yet. User reports on Reddit point to the update going live for a small group of people in India. A wider release to other countries should follow in the next few days.
The Reno 14 Pro carries build number CPH2739_16.0.1.310 (EX01) and takes up about 4GB to download. For the Reno 13, the build is CPH2689_16.0.1.302 (EX01) at roughly 3.7GB.
How to Check for the Update
Owners of these phones can look for the update in a few steps. First, make sure your device runs the newest ColorOS 15 version. You will need 6-7GB of free space and a steady Wi-Fi link.
Go to Settings, then System & Update. Tap the top of the screen. Hit the icon in the upper right. Select Beta Program, then Release Candidate, and choose Apply Now. The system will check for the download after that.
Back up your files and keep the battery above 50% before starting.
Key Changes in ColorOS 16
This release includes a full refresh to the user interface. Animations run more fluidly, and overall speed sees a boost. System apps get updates, and a fresh security patch comes along.
Core elements draw from Android 16. The design takes cues from natural shapes. AI tools handle tasks like real-time translation and writing support. Multitasking improves with better app handling.
Here are some main additions:
- Visual Tweaks: Warmer colors and themes that adjust to light.
- AI Aids: Tools for quick summaries and photo edits.
- Performance Gains: Less heat during use and higher stability.
- Security Layer: Blocks common threats to keep data safe.
The update fits into Oppo’s plan for November. Reno models like the 13 Pro 5G and 14 5G also qualify, along with the Pad 3 Pro. Rollouts happen in waves, so timing varies by area.

What Comes Next
Oppo plans more releases in December for devices such as the Find N2 Flip and K13 Turbo series. The first part of 2026 will cover older Reno 12 models and others.
Keep an eye on your phone’s update section. If it does not show up right away, it may arrive soon as the batches grow.
